What does R.I.S.E. stand for?

R.I.S.E. stands for Resilience is Strength and Endurance. We aim to foster resilience, strength and endurance in children who have experienced the death of a parent.

Are you currently providing services to support children?

Yes, we are offering our Camp Cope starting on September 11 and Team RISE sessions from September 18.

All our services are provided for free.

Are your mentors/volunteers trained to work with children?

Yes! We have partnered with Adam’s Place, a nonprofit in Las Vegas, NV, to train our mentors and volunteers. Adam’s Place has worked with more than 300 youths every year and has been providing peer support groups, Camp Cope, since 2010. Our team received the Camp Cope certification in February 2022.

All volunteers go through rigorous training and background checks to ensure the children’s safety and well-being. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

How do I get involved?

May I donate to R.I.S.E. Northwest?

Yes, there are two ways to donate. Send a check to R.I.S.E. Northwest at P.O. Box 403 Colbert, WA 99005 or donate online.

R.I.S.E. Northwest is 501(c)(3) nonprofit and cash donations to our cause are tax-deductible.
